"I always knew that I was comfortable with myself," she says. "So, I wanted to pursue the [porn] career, but I figured out if I'm gonna do it, you better do it right. So I got an agent, which is LA Direct Models, and they've been booking me these awesome gigs with these awesome people, and I've been meeting absolutely wonderful, professional photographers, producers, directors ... ‘talent,' if you will."

While in Fort Lauderdale, Tory Lane worked as a bartender and graduated from Broward Community College with an associate's degree in business. Much of her popularity is due to her aggressive nature in her sex scenes. Her favorite sexual position is "doggy style." She married adult film actor Rick Shameless in 2005.

"I went to Broward Community College," Tory Lane says, "and I got my associate's degree [in] business so I can manage my fuckin' porn career. No, I just had nothing else to do. My family was like, ‘You gotta go to school or you gotta get the fuck out, one of the two.' So I went to school."

A pornographic actor or a porn star is somebody who appears in adult movies, live sex shows or peep shows.
